Recently making the decision to make more tags more accessible to non-residents, which I believe is to appease the outfitters by bringing in more customers. The fact that such a low amount of state trust land is available to the average Joe hunter goes right along with the tags issue, catered toward outfitters.
I'll cast my vote on this poll, but I'll be really REALLY surprised if a darn thing comes of it. After all, just a few short years ago, our wildlife division got combined with parks and we all no one was in the red and one was in the black with money, so now more money will have to come from hunting/hunters to make it all balance out and one way to do that, is bring in more non-resident money. Sad reality.
