Had the opportunity to see and try the garmin chrono. If i could operate it, anyone can, impressive easy to set up and use, now if only i had a few hundred laying around.

The Garmin is super easy to set up and very forgiving on placement, I am glad I bought one. I had a labradar when they first came out and sold it after a few range trips because it failed to pick up many shots. So far the Garmin has not missed one.
Yep...the Garmin is super easy to set up. Works better than the Lab Radar and is much smaller which makes is more stable in windy conditions. It has missed a few shots which I attribute to "rapid fire". As long as you are shooting at 1 shot per second it shouldn't miss anything. I have tried it with high power rifle and air gun so far. Data isn't quite as in depth as Lab Radar. It will not give you the incremental velocities and kinetic energies as the projectile travels downrange.
