Still, it's not quite the same - I have a BE Meyers MAWL laser and a PVS-14 setup I want to put through its full paces. I'd like to be able to dial up the range a bit, even move while shooting. Though I fully get why ranges would be hesitant to allow it.
Classes are great for learning the basics if you have never done something, but once you have learned it, you should have some consistent practice whenever possible.
If the range is slow Shoot Indoors will work with you. Down side is you may have to bribe them with a mag if you want them to turn off the lights.Quote:

how do you simulate "hot" targets? i just got a thor infared scope from my buddy but havent played with it in the dark yet, as the targets thing has eluded me....
how about at the state lands? are they closed at dark? im thinking the keystone range (by the dump) up in summit county, or that idaho springs devils range.... havent been to idaho springs range, but i assume its state, and same rules
