I just visited these guys for the first time yesterday. Great place. As I said in some other thread somewhere about something totally unrelated, in an era where most gun stores seem to be staffed by ex-SEAL/Snipers with severe Aspergers syndrome, in was a welcome relief to deal with people that were friendly, polite, and didn't come across as all-knowing commandos.
If their prices are a little higher, I think it's worth it. If they were astronomically higher it might cause me to think twice, but what I saw wasn't unreasonable.
This is the first place I'm going next time I'm in the market. They had everything from antique stuff I'd be afraid to shoot to new M1A's and AR's
(I didn't check the price on those, I should have because I'm better versed on those and could have judged exactly how overpriced they are or aren't based on a couple of AR prices alone)
Oh, and the dog wandering the floor was very polite about the tennis ball. If you didn't want to play, that was fine.
I bought my Kimber there and got a great price. It was used but in excellent condition. I will definitely continue to do business with The Gun Room. They are also very helpful if I call with a question. Good people doing good business.
Do they deal much on their prices? they have a 29 I might be interested in.
