You left out the great lady of American military rifles? The wonderful 03 Springfield?
Okay Marlin, is this better?
Allow me to introduce you to Heidi. My new blonde Swiss maiden.

I picked her up early last week but the shop didn't have any ammo. So I haven't been able to take her out and play with her yet.
Paid $137 out the door. The stock is clean and straight with a bit of rust and some spots of pitting on the metal, but the bore is perfect. [/img]
That's quite a girl to bring her own ring to the party!Quote:

1892 Commission 88 - aka Kar88. It has the Mauser reciever, French guard and drop out stripper clip design and the barrel length stock (spacing out on the name).
I'll try to post a pic of some of my other wifes.
My M91/30 and K31 are equal, they are both accurate and fun. The K31 was my first..... Be careful in getting them, the barrels tend to be worn out.
I haven't shot my 03 Springfield yet, but I think it will become my new favorite. I still haven't loaded any carts for it.....
I haven't been to any gun shows lately, so the collection has slowed.

PS, the #4 MK1s are the same on the barrels as the K31s, I have two. One won't hit the broad side of a barn.
I like the Mausers. I like C&R's that are trendsetters and the model 98 is one of the most copied rifles in the world.
