As always it looks interesting but with the on set of piston uppers from several manufacturers for the AR platform, I'll wait.
The new DPMS and Rock River .308 carbines on the other hand... for $500-$700 less and in .308, don't see where it makes much sense to go for a wizbang itteration of the vernerable M4forgeries... just read a review on the DPMS and it and the RRA are using commonly available AR15 lowers. Apparently the DPMS needs a trigger job in a big way out of the box, but still. Looks like the DPMS will be right about $1200 and the RRA comes in at about 1k .. both prices are MSRP, so we might see a few bills lower. Doubt that on the RRA... but still, .308 in a M4 form factor, what ever will I do!?!?!
screw that for $1200 i can buy another suppresor and more ammo!!
