i fired one 30rd mag. it was wat to hot to touch
supposedly a can's temp increases approx 8* per round fired. after running 3-4 mags through my suppressor that baby takes forever to cool down. i usually make it the first gun i fire at the range (or elsewhere).
i'm going to invest in some nomex gloves

thanks Zak i'll try your method when i get home and post the results after a full clip. did i tell you guys how much i love having a range at my house.
the heat difference between my halo and my outback is hard to belive. i understand why it is hotter, but wow that thing will peel off your skin in one clip. it take the out back about 5 clips in my sig to get hot and on my 10/22 it never seems to get hot enough not to touch. i guess all the gas is finished burning before it leaves the barrel.
anyway thanks again for all the help.
