Karambit, IMHO.
Although all the custom guys make one for around $150-$400.
Emerson, Ontario and 5.11 make nice ones for less.
My EDC for years has been a CRKT M16 series, preferably a 10 or 12. I picked up a SOG Trident last month though, and been loving it so far.
My edc is a spyderco endura 4. I always get a "what the..." from people when it comes out open. VG-10 cuts the crap out of tape and boxes too...lol.
I have been carrying a CRKT Ignitor recently.
I have a CRKT M21-sf that I love. Came wicked sharp when I got it. Just read the stropping/sharpening thread and I'm going to want to try it!
I like my mini ak (cold steel- I know, not greatest reputation)
thing takes a beating, opens right out of the pocket without spring mechanism, and has a very sturdy lock.
ebay got me mine for $70
