Don't presume that removable base plates are going to be legal. The way lawyers are and the way it can be read, they are illegal. As we all know, if it can be read to prohibit, it's going to prohibit. Also, there is no grandfathering of removable base plate magazines. They will be illegal come July 1. What pisses me off so much is CBI is getting funding from CO as it is and they have been offering the Brady check all this time, but now we have to pay. Did you know the same bill prohibits FFL's from charging more than $10 for the service (It's a 15 to 35 minute ordeal), but CBI can charge whatever they deem as "necessary". The reps I have talked to at CBI says it is going up to a minimum of $25 next year.
Also, show us where it says nieces, nephews, first cousins, aunts, and uncles. The bill I read said immediate family was spouses, children, and grandchildren.
Charging for a mandatory Brady check has made this a sin tax.
