But that's a pretty weak industry here in CO, so pickings have been slim.
Don't necessarily need to stay in the chemicals field.

Description
The role of the Technical Process Documentation Specialist is to document and diagram application systems, standard operating procedures, and general processes. The specialist will interact with various departments to develop an understanding of each application or process used by the Whiting Infrastructure team. Once the specialist has gathered data for a particular system or process, that person shall create a coherent document in a consistent format that contains all necessary design diagrams, work flows and descriptive text.
Responsibilities
· Conduct research about IT systems

· Prepare standard operating procedures
· Document existing IT processes, procedures and applications

Found out today I may have less than 70 days left in the Air Force.
I have been in the IT field since 2005. I have worked with everything from servers, NAS/SANs, to workstation repair/mass upgrades, Cisco/Juniper/Promina, Large Scale Cyber Transport/security. I also hold an active TS/SCI Security Clearance. I have been in the military 15 years, and have extensive management skills. I currently lead an eight person team responsible for monitoring/troubleshooting/directing maintenance for 18000+ circuits over 15 WANs. I currently Hold an Associates Degree in Information Technology, and an active Security+ Certification.
I'm doing my best to translate my military resume to civilian style, so I thought I would post a quick post here to see if there is any company interested in my skills and abilities.
Perhaps if anyone has had experience transitioning from military to civilian life, please link up with me. I could use some mentorship in resume writing as well.
I work at the refinary in commerce city and they just posted job opening's for operators. I think starting pay is around $25 an hour. High school diploma or GED is a must and you must pass a hair folical drug test. Also there is an aptitude test at red rocks. If interested pm me and I get you the info on where to send your résumé.
