I have no idea what to do... We've built things, made home made pizza and breakfast burritos, saw a baseball game, he stood next to me when I got a medal pinned on me, saw a brigade change of command, I taught him to shoot a gun, he climbed around an MATV.....

I'm really grateful for digital cameras. His guardian can see that we're taking care of him. That's the important thing, really. The state has some active investigations against his mother, so they're pretty particular about what environments he's allowed to stay in.
At least the little guy has a positive role model, it's hard growing up as a boy with no positive male influences.
