Finishing painting the trim on my front bedroom today. Appt with surgeon tomorrow then starting to paint the living room, that's going to take a long time! But heading to Lowe's today to get some larger lag screws to re-mount my reloading press to my bench a little more securely this time.

Full suspension? Why don't you want a hardtail? When you have suspension in the back, you lose a lot of power.

The 20% that I do down hill would kill me, and probably bust the frame...[LOL]Most decent decent bikes have at least a 90 percent lock out for front and rear suspension, for cross country and up hill.........

i have a 6 inch travel chumba evo, it pedals uphill almost as well as my hardtail. the rear suspension sets and away i go

Well, I am by no means an expert, but I felt like I had a harder time accelerating and climbing over obstacles when I had a rear suspension.

There is a reasonable chance that I have fallen prey to confirmation bias, but I guess I'll never know.

Also, I am nowhere near a biking expert. I used to ride weekly, but now it's become a monthly or bi-monthly thing with the arrival of Baby HB.
