You could definitely pound some stakes into the base and leave it outside if you want. Eventually from the splatter from impacts wearing some paint off, you will get some rust. It breaks down pretty easy, so if theft is a concern it wouldn't be hard for someone to break it apart and take off with it.Quote:

The Paddles are 6" in diameter!
