Sounds like your compressor was opening the thermaloverload. Spray some soap bubbles on the piping while it's running and see if you get a bunch of bubbles formig

R290 IS THE FUTURE 134a is trash

looks like the control board was bad, tech replaced it and we are GTG for a while longer
