Which knife sharpener? W/S or

My CPM-S110V steel knives are a royal P.I.T.A. to sharpen. It holds an edge like a boss (I used a single 2.5" S110V knife to do a bull moose), but getting it back to razor sharp takes a lot of manual work. I've been considering a grinder.

That looks like the one I have. Works awesome even on tough to sharpen steels. It does take a little dexterity on your part to use it successfully or you do run the risk of rounding the tip or getting a wunky edge. I managed it just fine but I had a coworker that got one and the tips on all of his blades were rounded off pretty bad after his first attempts to sharpen. He was kind of a chimp though. I?ve had nothing but good luck with mine with me operating it.

Yes it is. It's what i decided to buy.

I just used mine about ten minutes ago. Neither my chef nor my santoku would slice mushrooms smoothly. A few passes and they are like new.

All right, thanks for the verification. Asking for one for Christmas.

Yep. Ran stones and rods for years and never felt the knifes were good.
Now the kitchen knives work even the full one that I could not sharpen no matter what.

Also can use it to sharpen lawn mower blades and the gardening axe. Well worth the money
