From what Ive gathered, Israel really planned this op out. They got their prime targets together and held them in place for a decapitating strike and have quickly achieved air superiority. Iran's only response available has been launched indiscriminate missiles (aka terror bombs) in Hitlerian fashion. Of course, the Leftists are still portraying Israel as the aggressor and terrorists.
Spot on. Israel did what needed to be done.
The radical regime in Iran has quickly been losing favor amongst their people and those in charge risk losing power if they don't project fear and control - not only against the world, but against their own people. Many (dare I say MOST?) of the Iranian people have had enough and want freedom - the freedom they've not seen since before 1979 when the Ayatollah took power after the Iranian Revolution. I've watched a couple of videos of large masses of Iranians celebrating the strikes by Israel in the streets/open areas. Since Iran's radical leaders sense they're losing their grip, they're likely to become more desperate and become more likely to use nuclear weapons while they still have a chance. Taking that option away from them was the only move Israel could do to ensure their survival.
