Happy Thanksgiving, all.

I spent the day with my brothers, and their children.

Good news, there are still many things to be thankfull and gratefull for.

Pies! I made 19 mini pies yesterday.

My family voted to NOT have a traditional Thanksgiving dinner and opted for Chicken Linguini Alfredo instead (I got a great recipe for this from my daughter that I made). While the cooking effort was far less, I sure missed the traditional dinner. I'd also been told that nobody enjoys Pecan or Pumpkin pie, so the wife bought a cheesecake. To me, it just isn't Thanksgiving without pie, so I made 19 of 3 different mini pies (Apple pie, Appalachian Chocolate Gravy pie & Sawdust pie - I'll post the recipes for the last 2).

This morning I've getting ready to head out to have breakfast with a half dozen former coworkers who say they miss me and want to get together. Hopefully we can find a table at Sandy's (folks in the Springs know Sandy's is "the breakfast place" to eat.)

I might stop by Scheels later and see if there are any deals on a few things I need to pick up.

I hope it was a wonderful day filled with family, friends & fun while giving thanks for things that were and things still to come.
