Now, I grew up in Kansas CIty (Missouri) where BBQ is King (had the only 4 Star BBQ joint in the world for years). I practically teethed on BBQ of all sorts: brisket, ribs, pulled pork, chicken, etc. and eventually my dad was 50% owner of a BBQ restaurant. My point is, I KNOW good BBQ and have been disappointed for YEARS trying to find decent BBQ in Colorado.Quote:

We were thrilled to find that they also had a store in Parker. We finally got a chance to try the Parker location out this past spring and found that the food was just as good as at the Aspen store.

I ate some left overs from Casa Bonita a while back and it was pretty good. Not good enough that I'd eat it over anything else, but better than other Mexican I've had.
Speaking of BBQ, Rudy's down in the Springs off of HWY 24 has fantastic smoked meat (sauce opt.) also The Rib House in Longmont and Boulder has some bomb ass ribs and spicy sausage and the cheesy corn bake bake will make your brain melt and run out of your ears! In my opinion hands down the two best places for BBQ in CO that I've come across.
