Sir, you mistake this for a democracy. It is not. This forum is privately operated, and the owners/moderators make the rules. They allow for an amazing diversity of opinions, only stepping in when issues arise that infringe on the smooth functioning of the forum. I am getting so 'effing fed up with the comparison of this site to socialism here recently.
A few simple rules most of which have been in place since the site started. And a few just to make it a little easier to do a transaction And all of a sudden we are the worst of socialism, communism, and whatever other "ism" there is..

Newbs are one thing, dumb newbs are another and boy have we had a taste of the latter recently so a few new rules to keep them in line doesn't bug me one bit. As its been said several times in the past, this forum owes you (or any of us) nothing so complaining about it might not work out so well for ya.
That's fine with me, have your opinion, you are entitled.
But, as stated, if we just don't measure up to your standards, and the few rules that we do have are just to restrictive for you.. See ya.
Frankly, I could care less if you have your location or not, just don't post in the trading post without it. That one little bit of "guidance", has saved me a lot of headaches.
