As a pathetic Colorado native, I've never seen a big horn sheep or a moose in the wild. Yesterday I got to see 14 sheep at the same time. The herd ram, or whatever they are called, was big and had a great rack. One of the ewes had a collar on and as far as I can tell, her name is C-3.

While we're at it, my dog found this Garter snake the other day (Dec 12th) just hanging out, enjoying the sun. I chose the picture that showed the dog in focus instead of the snake since I know more people on here like dogs better than snakes. :)

Finally got a few decent shots of an eagle. These guys are always nearby when I don't have a camera or can't stop. Wife and I went for a ride today and wound up near the confluence of the Snake and Grande Ronde rivers. Saw this guy (behind trees, of course) about 100 yds away. He was watching me like a hawk (sorry...) but I finally managed to work my way into position for a fairly good picture. He did not like me interrupting his fishing.
