I remove all my striker plates & hinges in the house and replace the 3/4" screws that set them into the cheap door frame that splinter super easy (most people are amazed to find out how easy it is to kick in a door) with 3" or longer high grade screws that set the striker plates into the 2x4's that actually hold the door frame in place. This is a great way to make it much more difficult to kick your door in. This product looks like it does something similar but transfers the force across more of the door & frame. $79 is pretty steep IMO and my method costs only a few bucks and anyone can do it. Not doubting this product just pointing out that there are far cheaper and easier steps that most people could take today to secure their homes a little bit better.
