Funny now, but not so funny yesterday....... The 30 year mechanic, moi, ...had some dead time in the afternoon, so I pull in my Explorer for maintenance.

Get through with everything, fill it up and fire it up. Oil fucking everywhere....$25 of Mobil 1 synthetic. When I pulled the old filter off, I didn't make sure the gasket was still on it, never looked at it.[facepalm]
