Would the motor from a ceiling fan work for a wet tumbler? Cause I have two of them. Probably not without some gearing, now that I think about it.

I cussed the swaging and priming stations on my 1050 all weekend. Hose helped me diagnose the problem (crushing primers) and it ran the last 500 rounds with very few problems after considerable tinkering.
Also ordered a couple of these.

Supposed to help with powder spraying everywhere. Got one for the 1050 and one for the 650.
I made two changes simultaneously. Not sure which was the fix. I increased the amount of swage. Might have been insufficient. I also adjusted the tab that positions the case on the priming station a little closer to the case. Pretty subtle adjustments! I like my 1050, but the priming system is definitely fiddley.
Makes sense. I usually put a piece of scotch tape on the side of a case and slide the delrin piece in till it touches. That leaves ~.002" clearance, which has been pretty reliable for me.
These are two pieces of gear that I have found very helpful when it comes to setting swaging depth, that might be of interest to you and others:

Just getting started with reloading and I have a few test loads ready to check next time I get to the range. I'm gonna love this hobby!
Well, I took that advice and ran a few hundred rounds of mixed brass through the wet tumbler for a couple of hours without the pins.
They came out way cleaner than I would have imagined.
Now they?re ready to be sized and deprimed then maybe they?ll make a trip back into the tumbler with the pins for a good cleaning inside and out before they get loaded.

Its below zero here right now so my gun room doubles as my indoor shooting range so I shot out the window. I get 40 yards out the window not to bad. If I want to shoot long range I have to go outside and its too damn cold. [AR15]
