After countless vehicles stopped in the middle of the highway to gawk at several moose, I was content today to aim the camera at rocks instead of mammals.

Dream Lake, just 1.1 miles up the hill from Bear Lake parking lot (that's Hallett Peak above it). We had relatives in town so we did the tour guide thing....less than ideal weather for them but made the scene more interesting for me.Quote:

Northern Fucker. Oversize Woody the Woodpecker. Asshole bird who likes to wake people up at ungodly hours of the morning by drumming on a chimney for a couple months in the spring. Can also inflict many thousands of dollars in repair bills to siding.
