I can use my personal card for everything but air travel. We were given a corp amex too but to get rewards on it, you had to pay the annual fee.

Yes. I'll explain:
I had a full tank of gas, and I grabbed his and my bug out bags with extra food, water, and warm clothes before I left. I was in cell phone range about 95% of the time. All of that was in case something bad happened outside of my control... I really didn't do anything too crazy and I never got to the point where I might get stuck. I play it safe.
