Since kazoo isn't here, I've got a question for you hos.
What kind of trimmers do you use for brass? I'm considering picking up a WFT2 so I can have a cutter for both 223 and 308. Is it worth it or is there something truly better out there to use?
I've got about 2k 223 and 50 308 at the moment, but the qty of 308 will grow after I get my rifle and buy some factory ammo.
This purchase will be after I purchase my rifle, which will be in about 2 weeks, so it isn't taking away from that rifle fund (actually, the rifle budget is enough for the rifle but I made an agreement with the wife that I'll purchase it in 2 weeks). Happy wife, happy life-with-lots-o-guns-and-toys. [LOL]
Lyman Acculine trimmer here.
Yes, I have the orange night sights as well.
Bogie, that's some weird shit there.
OBC, how precise is it? Is it easy to adjust to whatever dimension you want? Can you hold .001" consistency?
I have the Lyman Universal Trimmer and power adaptor. It is consistent to about +/- 0.0015". It is easy to adjust. There is a threaded adjustment with indications. I've had no complaints about this trimmer whatsoever. The power adaptor is a must if you have significant quantities of brass.
