My SIL is freaking out. My wife is GLAD she has applied for her CCL and is now anxious for it to arrive so she can start carrying. She also told me to buy her a pistol and appendix style holster soon so she can start carrying the second she gets her license.

No home defense firearm? Left wife and child unattended? Unknown number of trespassers?
Luckily everything was ok, this time.

His wife had the 12ga shotgun while he took the dog and his pistol with him. And yes, he left them unattended, not what I would have done but I don't know until I'm in that situation.

Exactly, I only know what my wife told me and can't judge him one way or another for his actions, I'm just glad he had the firearms out ready to defend themselves.

A quick howdy....

Thanks for the vid Belly, BC I'm glad the inlaws are unharmed.

I'm kinda messed up inside, ....after all the years in, I would usually appreciate the wif being gone for a week, but it's different this time. Stuff on line and all that.

It's gonna be a long week, I hope work doesn't put a whoopin on me too.

BC, scary about your family having a break in. Glad that everything ended up safely.

In other news, one of the other members on here kinda ruffled my feathers about some of the inner perceptions of the Army. Ugh. When i see that attitude from the combat folks, gosh......That really gets me upset. The whole 'Logistics are just Soldiers who are too big of sissies to be infantry' crap. Grrrrrrrr....
