Same exact thing happened to me about a month ago. Call came in on my cell phone and the number displayed on the screen IS my cell number. I was staring at it and thinking, 'Are you shitting me??'.

I no longer receive calls from unknown numbers. Those get sent straight to voicemail and my phone never rings.

I know this thread is for bitching about stuff but I?m tickled as a pig in shit that my phone is smart enough to only allow calls from people I know.

A friend had someone call him and try to chew him out and to stop calling his daughter's phone. After he finished, said friend told him what a dumbass he and his daughter were.

Rolling with Do Not Disturb, any number thats not recognized gets sent this text "identify yourself or you will be blocked", then if they dont they are blocked. Currently have over 1000 blocked numbers. I Think i might go back to changing my number yearly.

I had someone call me once pissed off because I kept calling them. Tried explaining that I had never called him before but I don?t think he got it. Apparently there are still stupid people walking this planet. I just blocked him so if he kept getting calls from my number he wouldn?t call me again.

The same thing happened to me. Sounded like an older gentleman, so I don't think he understood me telling him the number was spoofed. I had to block him.
