Had to hike up that hill (Look at the damn incline) about 100yds...Left all the gear down by a trail, because i knew I had to drag his butt down...
Took him with a Browning Abolt stalker in 270WSM shooting 140Gr ballistic tips.
Meat packers were in LaSalle CO aka Valley Packing. They did one hell of job. Their jalepeno cheddar pepperoni sticks are grubalicous.
I can post some pics of the freezer if you want more proof...lmao.

I only got to hunt 2 species this year. Next year I will hopefully get to hunt elk again as well as deer. I took a deer in 06, but have no pics, only a video...

shot placement: perfect...he took 2 steps and that was the end of it.
