So I frankly do not like .22LR pistols very much. Any joy I get out of shooting them is offset by the tedium of loading and cleaning them. Nonetheless, I have accumulated a couple. If I had to do it all over again, I'd spend the bucks on a Model 41 and be done with it.

I have the Ruger mark III 22/45 LITE, the ugly gold one, I had a standard bull barrel one I wish I kept and I got my best grouping out of. they have a black LITE out now that im contimplating on getting or the regular steele threaded barrel one with the replaceable grip panels to help fit hands better since the regular ones are really thin for some. You can't go wrong with any of the ruger mark series really, lots of aftermarket parts available for modifiying, although they are kind of a pain to strip for cleaning.

S&W Model 18 - classic
H&R Sportsman 999 - top break rimfire nine shot revolver. Turns 39 this year. Good shooter but just something cool about a break action revolver.
I am old school when it comes to .22's. Find a nice S&W Md 17 which are usually found in 6 inch barrels of if you want a 4 inch gun find a Md 18. They are very accurate and have a classic look to them. The workmanship on them is 2nd to none.
I prefer my Ruger Mark II. Reliability over sexy.
Just picked up the Advantage Arms LE17/22 conversion kit for my Glock 17. It's supposed to be the most reliable and accurate .22 kit available. I'll find out for myself next week when I get back out to the range again.

I have had alot of luck with the ruger mk2/3, and buckmarks, the p22s, and ruger sr22 just did not feel good in my hand
