At least got to sit on porch drinking coffee with youngest minion snoozing away on my lap and watch sunrise.
The fox that lives in the neighborhood and that we have not seen in couple months cruised thru the yard. Glad to see her still around and hope she gets knocked up and has a litter this year.

Nothing like waking up hearing your dog dry heaving, then running across the house to let them outside before they puke on the carpet, then stepping in it because you're too blind without your glasses to see that they just puked and you didn't make it. [facepalm]

It's even better when they blow chunks while you're sleeping...and you get up in the middle of the night for something..... and GOOSH.. step in a cold wet pile of yak.
