FINALLY!
I snuck off this morning for an hour and got the boat in the water for a checkout at Cherry Creek (aka Why Bother Lake).
Everything seems tip top for the most part. Starboard engine runs about 100RPM lower than the port engine at WOT. 6500/6400 and they're reported to run 6800 at sea level.
43.1MPH on the GPS with a full tank most of our normal gear less coolers, and just the wifey and I onboard. Sure does turn quick.
let the wife back the trailer in to load and still have my sanity. barely. I let her be until I got ugly and she got sideways too close to the dock. hard to imagine she used to drive a big "bus" (bambulance.)
It's an unusual sight to see a well defined shelf cloud over east Denver, around 2:30...lasted about a half an hour and crapped out. It was cool looking.
Glad you got your boat out, Brutal.
Heya Belly.... Very nicely done, brother.
That's some funny shit, Jim.
Yeah, we'd never even consider booking camping spots for any holiday weekend...back when we did that stuff anyways.
