And the mower started right up and ran fine! Stinks a lot and smoked a little, but it worked!

Right on, for Minion #1, Lobo.
Good thing he has you to help him do right while handling firearms, good shooting too. When we were shooting at the kids Mom's place yesterday, another co worker came out with his oldest boy, he's about 14 I think. His dad called me later to thank us for inviting them out there...and mentioned that when they were leaving the property, his boy told him that he had a lot of respect me and the kid, for always calling out "cold" or "hot" and following good safety rules when you're not at a range with someone making you do it. I thought that was cool.
Glad your mower fired up HB.
When this place sells, I might have a John Deere 500X riding mower 42" 3 blade deck.....with a dual stage snow blower attachment available........if anyone's interested in something like that.
Nite, fellers.
Hope we have a good week.
I was on my feet from 10 am to about 9 pm today. Started with women's self defense class and then went into hours and hours of yard work after that. I'll put up some pictures.
Fence. Those vines all the way down the side of the house are gone.

Other side of same fence. That grape vine and trellis are down now. It was too dark to even take a picture when I was done.

Chopped this bush down (about 7' tall) with an axe. It was NOT ideal. Instead of one thick stump, it was about 20 individual stumps perhaps half the size of my wrist. Those bushes are all dry and fire-hazardy inside. It was my favorite bush, and it blocked the view down the other side of my house. Now that the fence is there, it is just a hiding spot waiting to happen.

Here is the bush before chopping it down. See those dead bushes peaking out from the side of the house? I've had them crammed back there for a month, and after I built the fence on the other side, realized that I couldn't get my trash cans out. DOH, so they all got moved out to the front and I've called the city to come pick them up and bill me for it. I took a picture of all the bushes just hanging out on the side of my house, but it hasn't uploaded yet. It is basically about 21 cubic yards of yard debris. City will probably charge me $150 to remove it all, which is much cheaper than if I did it myself.
