That's a great shot, HB. Thanks for sharing that.. :)
Thanks guys, I just walked outside at the right moment. :)
What is everybody up to?
looking at the hole in my pocket. Trying to figure out how i got roped in to buying a police trade in S&W 4" Model 15 revolver. Make matters worse, showed the spouse. First words out of her mouth. OH that looks real nice. Not only do i have a hole in the pocket, the Model 15 has some how drifted to the spouses collection. [facepalm]
Stripped the oil plug bolt on my Focus. Letting it soak in Liquid Wrench while I figure out how to get it out.
Anyone remember the name of the oil plugs that use a lever instead of a screw? I want to get one for each of our cars...
stripped as in rounded off or stripped as in cross threaded in? IF you cannot get a flat jawed Vise Grips (R) to work, while applying low heat to pan. . Plan B center punch the plug, drill through in 2-3 increments, then use a GOOD screw extractor. See if bobbyz has a snap-on spline type extractor. Ir not i can have one down to you monday-tuesday.

OR wait till tomorrw and bring it to one of those quick change places, let them deal with it [LOL]
Oh hell, I was in that thread, don't have time to get one before the trip. Fumoto valve.
Jim, I've got some easy outs, but am worried that if the bolt is so tight that it'd round off the head with a wrench, that an easy out won't have a chance.
Don't think my first thought wasn't to drop it off at a Firestone...

Made my first trailer load of my crap to the new pad, financed a new bed set from Innomax..[facepalm]...it gets delivered and assembled next Saturday. Helped the wife unload 1300 bricks in the 90+ heat, that was fun.
Bummer on the oil pan woes, Irving. If you weren't heading out on a trip, I'd help you get the plug out. I'm unclear if you rounded off the head of the drain plug, but that's what I'm thinking happened? I have some socket rails designed for shit like that.
Don't think my first thought wasn't to drop it off at a Firestone... was it one of those butt holes that got the plug too damn tight in the first place?
I'm taking in this WD marathon...I still like that show.
YO YO YO HO's!
