My wife went into labor Thursday morning at 230am. We got to the hospital around 430am and then things started progressing fast! At 1104am, my beautiful daughter took her first breath. Baby is 8lbs 2oz, 20 inches long and was 5 days overdue. Momma did the entire 8hr start-to-finish labor without any pain meds, super impressive since it was so fast! Even the nurses and doc weren't ready for it to go that fast, the doc was in the middle of a surgery and wasn't expecting to need to help us for at least another 12 hrs!! We were scheduled to be induced friday, but sure enough she came out on her own schedule.
We have so much to learn but are making tons of progress already. She is starting to give us signs and trusting us more, so it's a little easier.
She just passed out so that'd my que: nap time!!
