Ugh....found out I have to go back to Boston in January! Kill me now. I've never been so cold. Freedom walk in January...7 degrees...a stiff northeasterly wind...complete humidity.

Every time I went into a shop to warm up I had to listen to the absolute worst accent in America. wicked this....wicked that....littered with completely unnecessary consonants.

The dogs are crate trained. They don't get free run of the house. The worst thing you can do to a hunting dog is let them get too comfortable. I also don't want to have dead mouse parts littered around my house. I just gave it a watery grave + a courtesy flush.

Last time my wifey woke me up for a scratching noise she heard, it turned out to be a bear pawing at the mud porch. I put the critter killer away and retrieved the bear shotgun. I came out the other door and put a slapping of rubber on its posterior. Decent sized bear, I'd say about 160-170lbs. Haven't seen it since.
