Whoever got paid to be the technical expert on that film got overpaid.
Snipers don't shoot thousands of rounds per week. It's not an accuracy by volume event. It's a lot of field time, yes, but its more like jump in, walk around for two days, get set up, spend the next 36 hours not moving (did I just shit myself? I think I might have), make your reports (or radio them in throughout) then crawl home.

The most I've ever fired in one sitting was 300~ish rounds.*
*while shooting for the Army.
Although I don't believe in the whole 'One Shot, One Kill' myth (I agree with what it REAALY means, though), I do think there are ways of getting better at shooting and getting more and more comfortable in your abilities that don't include that much ammo.
Anyways, I did something on Thanksgiving that I thought I would never do before.
I played my first game of dungeons and dragons.
It was not as bad as folks would think. Having to have the rules explained to me and then having to suck at it kinda piqued my interest a bit.
if anything, I was invited to their regular weekly game.
OH I GET IT!!!!!!! Those folks used D&D as a way to get together and socialize. Much in the same way grandma has her bridge clubs, or mrs. Belly has her bunko games.
So, I'm probably going to go for a new scope. Any ideas?
