Yeah, i'm definitely a noob. I've made some, and i've lost some, but that's part of the game.

I'm pretty sure I just heard three distinct gunshots (rifle) outside, about 10 seconds apart. I suppose it could be left over New Years fire works, but I don't think so. I went outside and expected my neighbors to be out there, but neither of them were.

Everyone around me that does uses air rifles that while loud, I wouldn't hear from inside. We're about to watch Band of Brothers, so even if stuff is going on outside, we're not likely to know about it.

Band of Brothers is a good series, Irving.

The Green Mile just started on AMC...great show. Yet another Hanks film that impresses me.

Nothing wrong with watching Band of Brothers with your home defense gun in your lap. ;)

Bonus points if you have a vintage WWII gun like a Garand, Hi-power, or 1911
