They told me that there was no snow on the roof (at 1:00 pm) and the roofer was on the way up as we were speaking. They were pissed because there was a mis-communication somewhere and I only had a home number to leave a message at, so of course when they were at the house (not their house) waiting for me, they didn't know I wasn't coming. I'm still having a hard time believing all the snow melted in only two hours though. The storm has to stop some where so I could be wrong of course, but given the conditions all morning, I'm okay with the call I made.Quote:

Once the sun came out, the snow was gone off roadways and sidewalks, but still wet. . HOWEVER, being on a wet roof is unnecessary, unless one is looking for their Darwin award. OR one is trying to stop a deluge coming through their home. Even then insurance should cover the damage.
