I've been smitten by the 300BLK bug.

Picked up a 16" complete upper yesterday from a COAR15 member on a smokin hot deal, and found a super deal on an AAC 9" barrel kit last night on GB of all places.

Now I need to sort out a nice stripped upper, build parts, and a right-length rail sans cheese grater and weight.

If I did that, I'd wanna go all the way with a A1 lower, Nodak has a nice one. But I'd also be temped to do an original 601/602 SP1 style upper with no FA and a no fence lower. For now I got a few modern lowers that need a home. Maybe I'll do a full on A2 for now and then go with a1 clone later. Still need to get a CAR stock for my 733, its sporting a magpul right now. Basically, what I'm saying is, I like shooting with peep sights. Feels like more of a refinement of the art than putting the dot on things and going bang. Although I still got a few with optics and dots lying around too.

Yeah, I was first to see that deal. Too bad for me, he was looking to unload local and I didn't have time to make the trip up north. Good for you though.

I just put a midwest 9" m-lok rail on my 10.5. Pretty nice for weight, feel and price. The bonus for me was that they have QD holes milled in all over the place. Worth a look.

Good luck. I love mine. Just picked up a P-300 scope for it. turned out to be a tack driver @100 yards so time to stretch its legs. Have 110gr going right @ 2400. Going to try some SS stuff next. [Flower]

I like Midwest stuff, I'm looking at the keymod stuff as I'm already invested in it a little with a SBR BCM upper and a few options.

If you don't mind, what is the actual measurement on the length?

I'll get the tape out tonight when I get home. The keymod rail looks the exact same as mine (with the exception of little penis' instead of rectangular slots) I highly recommend it. Super light.
