My soundbar was on a really good surge protector (almost brand new too) but I'm guessing all the wires connected to it acted as a big antenna to collect just enough of the electromagnetic pulse from the lightning to fry some little component inside. The soundbar sent audio to the sub and surround speakers over Bluetooth and those still worked, but the main speaker bar didn't put out any sound. Bummer. [Dunno]Quote:
