It's been a while since I've done something irresponsible, so I built this last night. I guess I could go get some daytime pictures now.

A responsible adult would put a Walmart blue foam sleeping mat under that and call it good.
Here are some daytime pictures. The branch it's tied to is 19'3" from the ground. I put the ladder in the first crotch (center right), then climbed the rest of the way up. It was uncomfortable and I felt more stupid than cool being that high over the yard.

Knots are tied every 20". This is a 3/8" rope from Home Depot with a working load of 695lbs. There was a poly rope of the same size with a working load just over 1,000lbs. I probably should have gotten the poly rope but this one felt more "grippy" for climbing, and the kids don't weigh much.

The important part is the kid is loving it. It was the last thing she did last night, and the first thing this morning. I think I'll go to a tire place and beg off a used tire to hang instead of that branch.

Let me see if I can snag one today, and if not, I'm down.
Looks like a lynching rope to me. Time to rally the SJW's .

I know it still has the rim but it's all yours if you want to come and grab it. Wife will be home all day and I might be able to talk her into meeting you if you want it.
How would I get it off the rim?
Hopes and dreams bro?
