I did go home and figured out that a Strike Fire really does need a fifty yard zero as the instructions say.

That was a LOT of fun, the Texas star is always a blast!
Still can't suss whats's up with my rifle to cause that jam, stripped it down inspected all the parts. Aside from what looks like chipping at the end of the buffer tube (which I tightened maybe 1/16 of a turn) could it be the buffer spring itself? Or a whole new set of springs to be safe?
First time shooting a Tactical rifle match. Wow that was fun!! I'll be back!
