No one having much luck this year? All I got is a story. First bow hunting experience and was out for 5 days. We finally got on some bucks Saturday late morning. Setup for them the next morning and text book they crossed right in front of us at 25 yards, decent 4x4 whity. Pretty sure I hit the shoulder blade since his front leg was back when he stopped and we never found him. He fell over twice before splitting off. Looked like he fell one more time down the blood trail, arrow fell out about 20 yards later and the blood trail disappeared 30 yards later. Never found him. First big game animal I have ever lost since I have always used my 7mag rifle growing up. Tough pill to swallow and still think about it everyday.

Daughter scored on a local hunt, she did everything except gut it. Evening hunt and we had the primal cuts in the fridge by 2100. She gets buck fever worse than any of my kids which tells me she will probably hunt forever. I forgot my shooting sticks so she had to shoot off my shoulder. Awesome year!

Must be really proud barneyfife. My daughter looks similar in age. She loves game meat, and would help (begrudgingly like a teen girl) with every part; but I don't know if I could convince her to kill anything.
