haha, me too. Damn work phone call interrupting my whoring.
Unfortunately, there's more and more of that that I don't get paid for, or credit for billing, that cuts into my utilization and brings forth scrutiny of my (lack of) workload.

Just read his article on habit forming, and it was good stuff.
Oh no! I just received the following popup:
"A newly installed program requires this computer to be restarted. Please save your work and restart your computer. Your computer will automatically be restarted in"
5 Minutes 0 seconds.... 4 minutes 59 seconds... 4 minutes 58 seconds...
AHHHHHHHHH
I might be able to kill it, but I don't want to cause problems on this networked computer... I'll be back in a few minutes, I guess. [gohome]
Despite numerous conversations with the IT staff about not getting advance notice of unexpected restarts, I still have the BS occurring on my work laptop. The most frustrating part is when the host OS does it in the middle of the night, or on a mid-day weekday when I'm using one of the VM's. Invariably, my VM config gets dropped or some file I had open gets corrupt. THE most frustrating moment is when I'm working remotely on a client system during a critical moment and get rebooted with little or no notice.
She had that
Camarillo brillo
Flamin' out along her head,
I mean her Mendocino bean-o
By where some bugs had made it red
She ruled the Toads of the Short Forest
And every newt in Idaho
And every cricket who had chorused
By the bush in Buffalo
She said she was
A Magic Mama
And she could throw a mean Tarot
And carried on without a comma
That she was someone I should know
She had a snake for a pet
And an amulet
And she was breeding a dwarf
But she wasn't done yet
