Despite numerous conversations with the IT staff about not getting advance notice of unexpected restarts, I still have the BS occurring on my work laptop. The most frustrating part is when the host OS does it in the middle of the night, or on a mid-day weekday when I'm using one of the VM's. Invariably, my VM config gets dropped or some file I had open gets corrupt. THE most frustrating moment is when I'm working remotely on a client system during a critical moment and get rebooted with little or no notice.Quote:
