TSA fucked up @ DIA and affected operations everywhere. United cancelled our 3:20PM flight from Seattle-DEN.

Had upgraded the wife to FC on the cheap for the round trip and she automatically got rebooked SEA-SFO-DEN but they left me hanging with my dick out flying on miles and no status this year.

Been on ignore for over an hour and a half already trying to get on the same flights that has seats open but more already on standby than seats. I can't even go book it online which is really pissing me off more.

While waiting on hold, I just decided to try to change the GD flight online and I'll fight UA over the charge.

I was able to change to the same flights the wife is on. WTF didn't they put us both on to begin with?

Not one to leave well enough alone, and there's only a 40 min layover scheduled in SFO, I see the option to change itinerary for no charge during check-in and see there's a direct flight departing 10 minutes later.

Hop on the wife's laptop and see she also shows that option and there are plenty of seats. So I accept the change on my side, go through check-in, and then when I try to change hers, IT'S GONE!

Don't count on it SFO is notorious for cancelling flights if it even looks like fog is rolling in. That's when they divert flights to LAX or OC.

I need to confirm seating, BUT........... waiting till late sunday. KDVR was doing a report from DOA regarding the delays at security and ticket counter. The anchor said, it's too bad TSA feels they don't have to answer to anyone.

Best on getting back to CO with less then 1/2 a bottle of aspirin eaten.

4.5 hours on the phone later and we're both confirmed for a direct flight to Denver at 0525.

Wife is not happy about leaving for SEATAC at 0130 from one hour away. Flying with firearms makes it moar funner as OBC would say.
