I might run out of coffee, doubleshot, and energy drink and have to choke down a Diet Coke soon.

Still working from the hotel, dude was all about not having to go in all of a sudden.

Why is it when I have to be up early in the morning, I can't shut down and am up late. Yet when I need to pull an all nighter, I'm whooped?

If these guys had their system replication running right, we could have rolled over to the HA box and I wouldn't be doing this in the wee hours.

They're going about it all wrong.

Supposed to upgrade the HA box, roll to it and check everything out, then upgrade the primary and roll back.

Problem is they were so far behind, we had to skip 2 releases and the HA software doesn't support that.

So now we lose replication for a couple days.

Savior is a third system that is already a replicant of the first, and we'll just restore some user data to it to be used as a plan b if things go sideways.

If only this full backup would finish.
