I just want inexpensive parts for my first build.

so I'm shopping around, but nothing I want is in stock for the price I'm willing to pay :(

I'm gunna have to settle, or just take my time and keep searching.

wife isn't happy that I am building "another gun"

Deal with it. You're trying to buy caviar taste items on a Can Of Spam budget. Settle for mpi marked Bolts, known barrels, anyone's upper (like lowers) they are marked with 3-4 roll marks. Just different names on them. You want Daniels Defense, LMT, LaRure quality parts, spend the money.
If not accept it and move on. There's plenty of parts out there.

I am starting to deal with it. I still wont compromise on the BCG, and would still prefer SS barrel for cleaning/reliability. I am looking for blem'd uppers, and where ever I find a BCG or BBL I will buy the basic LPK, gas tube and block etc. I PM'ed you back about the Barrels.
