As for the ladders. What doesn't kill him, Only makes him stronger. .................................................. ....Sometimes.

No ladders involved. Just crawling around in the attic repaving current wiring with new wiring and trying to keep everything the same as it was. Just trying to figure out of there is a preference for how to build circuits. Keep it the same as original? Make each room or two a circuit? I've got all weekend to make a plan before I get started.

Remember, all I'm trying to do is make all my outlets be properly grounded and clean up any dangerous stuff I find in the attic. House is full of splices behind drywall and other surprises that come with 50 years of remodels.
