I do that! But then again, I can transfer a g.i bill to them, or make them join the military for free college....... If budget isn't cut again.

Like a true financial advisor, HoneyBadger did not answer my question, and at the same time over complicated his answer in a way that suggested I chose a product that has high fees. :p

Hey now, I answered 80% of your question! And all mutual funds have fees: either they are loaded, or "no-load" but you want ones with proven track records of out-performing the market and a low expense ratio.

I'm pretty much settled on Vanguard's VTSAX. Thanks for getting back to me.

True, but by May of this year, I will have crossed the inversion line on this one. I.e.: 529 will have more money in it than the current value of my "arsenal"
